After a period of heavy rain, 30 SAR members made their way to the beautiful Peak District National Park to walk in the Dovedale area in fine weather. We had two walks each day and SAR members were happy to enjoy walking at a level that suited them and socialising in the evenings.

In September 2023, SAR members visited the Austrian Tirol. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed some challenging walks in beautiful mountain country
Led by Giles, SAR members walked the Length of the Ver Valley, from source to where it meets the River Colne. Giles imparted information on each stage about the history and about the River itself.
